EQUIP (Ensuring Quality in Psychological Support) is a World Health Organization initiative that aims to develop and disseminate resources for scaling-up the quality delivery of psychological and psychosocial support interventions.
In early 2020, the global COVID-19 pandemic forced the EQUIP field and project work to explore options for providing remote (digital/tele/online) mental health and psychosocial support. In response, the EQUIP team quickly established “EQUIP REMOTE”, a platform where helpers can learn via eLearning modules, to transition from face-to-face mental health and psychosocial support to digital, or remote, support. These kind of support is provided in underdeveloped territories like Central Africa, South-East Asia or South America.
As most of the modules were based on documents with a lot of text, I was commissioned by SystemSeed - the company developing the courses - to create illustrations meant to pinpoint essential details, create context and help the whole learning process.
